SUPERVISOR CT in Lumberton, North Carolina at Southeastern Health

POSITION SUMMARY: Organizes and manages the CT section of the Medical Imaging department, and supervises section personnel. As a working supervisor, routinely performs the duties of a CT Technologist.

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE: ARRT certified, completion of formal training program in CT Technology, and certified (ARRT-CT).

Minimum Required: Thorough knowledge of CT protocols, procedures and techniques gained through substantial work experience as a CT Technologist. Demonstrated organizational and communications skills and leadership potential. BCLS certified.

Preferred: Above plus Associate Degree in radiography. Supervisory course work, training and experience.

ADDITIONAL SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Incumbent must demonstrate an ability to apply age-appropriate principles of communication and technical practice relevant to neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Incumbent must demonstrate competence in the use of equipment and application of procedures before being allowed to perform independently.
