Pezz Heating & Cooling is seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in Central New Jersey. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, maintain, and install residential and light-commercial heating and air conditioning systems, ensuring reliable comfort for our customers year-round.

• HVAC Service & Diagnostics

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light-commercial HVAC systems

  • Service furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, boilers, mini-splits, and RTUs

  • Perform system performance testing and identify efficiency or safety issues

• Installation & Maintenance

  • Install HVAC equipment and components in accordance with code and company standards

  • Perform seasonal tune-ups and preventative maintenance on heating and cooling systems

  • Interpret system layouts, schematics, and installation requirements

• Customer Communication

  • Communicate clearly with customers about system issues, repair options, and recommendations

  • Provide professional, customer-focused service on every job

  • Document work performed, findings, and recommendations accurately

• Operational Excellence

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

  • Follow all company safety standards and procedures

  • Represent Pezz Heating & Cooling professionally at all job sites

• 5+ years of HVAC service and installation experience (residential and light commercial)

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across heating and cooling systems

• Experience working with furnaces, condensers, heat pumps, boilers, mini-splits, and RTUs

• EPA certification preferred

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
