Warehouse Specialist in Phoenix, Arizona at Azbil North America Inc

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily warehousing activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing products within the warehouse. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Job Duties:

• Receive incoming shipments and ensure both quality and quantity.
• Accurately sort, label, and store items in designated warehouse locations.
• Maintain inventory records and conduct regular physical counts to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (pick, pack, ship).
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to optimize warehouse procedures.
• Comply with all safety and quality standards. Follow proper procedures for handling materials to minimize risk and damage.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics, supply chain, or procurement are a plus.
• 2 years of previous experience in warehouse management.
• Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems and data entry skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic understanding of safety and regulatory standards related to warehouse operations.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Work Environment:

• Primarily warehouse environment, with desk-based work for inventory management and purchasing.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
