Opportunity available in the heart of Dallas

We are seeking an energetic Dentist to join our growing team of providers making a difference in our dental healthcare. You will play a crucial role in providing integrated, comprehensive oral healthcare to infants, children, and adolescents. This role emphasizes preventive care, early intervention, and patient education while creating a positive and comfortable experience for young patients and their families.

Location: Mesquite, TX (4550 Gus Thomasson Rd. Suite 40, Mesquite TX 75150)

Here's a sneak peek at what you'll do:

  • Examine individuals requesting care, diagnoses their dental/oral conditions, prescribes and carries out, or directs others in carrying out, appropriate dental/oral treatment, or refers individuals for specialty consultation or treatment in conformance with approved clinical protocols and guidelines.
  • Provide preventive services including cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, and oral health education
  • Diagnose and treat dental conditions such as caries, infections, and developmental concerns
  • Perform restorative procedures including fillings, crowns, and extractions appropriate for pediatric patients
  • Educates individuals in oral health related conditions and in the general promotion of oral health related disease prevention.
  • Prepare and submit weekly written reports on dental department issues, patients seen each week, weekly production, concerns, program status, initiatives, and progress to the Chief Dental Officer.
  • Assist in the provision of continuing education, on-the-job training, and the orientation of staff as requested.
  • Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and other healthcare providers to deliver coordinated care
  • Participate inappropriate health promotion/disease prevention activities, both on-site and off-site as required.
  • Performs all functions in full compliance with the Dental Office Exposure Control Plan, including to but not limited to, the use of Personal Protective Equipment and Universal Precautions.

What you need to succeed

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Dentistry (preferred, if applicable)
  • Current unrestricted dental license
  • Experience in a clinical setting with a diverse patient population
  • Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar
  • MS Office Suite skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Have a servant heart with the desire to make a positive impact in the community
