We are looking for a talented Front of House people to join our team at our new venue - Pantry on Prospect!

Located in the heart of Prospect, SA, Pantry on Prospect is a bustling café by day and lively bar by night.

The Pantry on Prospect is part of the Sprout Food Group.

Sprout Food Group is a South Australian success story, known for exceptional food, unforgettable experiences, and a genuine people-first culture. Our portfolio includes two award-winning venues (Olive and Roma) and the Pantry will be our third. We also have renowned cooking school and RTO and cater for large-scale hospitality events that bring communities together.

The opportunity

As a member of the Front of House team you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere for our guests, from the very beginning, as part of the foundation team💥.

You will also provide outstanding customer service, engaging with guests and bringing personality to the role. Help the team to build community in Prospect.

Our venue offers café dining during the day, night time bar and restaurant plus our retail pantry. So, versatility is key.

Our open roles:

- Experienced section waiters and supervisors - Barista skills are a real bonus

- Junior wait staff – who are willing to learn and have the foundation of a love of hospitality and food and retail

What we are seeking

The ideal candidates will have:

- Experience matching the role applied for (e.g. experienced section waiters through to juniors - let us know what role you are applying for below / in your cover letter)

- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour and desire to help us build a community

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

- A great attitude – choosing to solve challenges (not point out problems)

- A willingness to learn

- Flexibility with scheduling, including weekends and holidays (we are open Wednesday – Sunday, you can find the details on our website)

- Responsible Service of Alcohol may be a requirement (depending on the role)
