About the Role:
Position Purpose
To provide high quality repairs to residential and commercial accounts by diagnosing pool repairs, conducting trouble-shooting, documenting all repairs, and working closely with Accounting Department to ensure proper billing is conducted in a timely manner.
Job Task and Responsibilities
- Diagnose pool repair needs and determine needed parts and equipment to complete repair.
- Complete repairs and installations of Pumps, Filters, Heaters and pool cleaning equipment.
- Repair tile, assist in remodels, repair plumbing, salt systems, electrical, Intelli-touch, easy touch, switches, replace complete skimmers, etc.
- Able to read and comprehend manuals.
- Report completed work to Accounting department to ensure fast and accurate billing.
- Maintain quality results by adhering to company standards.
- Able to install pool lighting and to program and manage automated systems (pool controls).
- Ability to work independently and with little to no supervision in a safe and smart manner.
- Complete designated work within assigned timeline.
- Participates in Company sponsored continuing education classes.
- Interface with employees and clients at different levels.
Requirements
- Valid California driver license
- Knowledge of basic math.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Read/write reports and solve basic math problems.
- Ability to drive standard transmission vehicle.
- Must be able to pass background and drug test.
- Must be able to swim.
- Knowledge of customer service principles and processes
- Bilingual English and Spanish a Plus.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Provide preferred tools.
5 days a week 6am-2:30 a.m.
Must be available to work weekends
Overtime might be needed
