Compensation: $32–$38 per hour (Direct Hire)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Field Supervisor to lead installation crews working on miscellaneous metals projects, including stairs, railings, and related components. This is a direct hire opportunity offering competitive hourly pay along with a company vehicle and gas card.
This role is responsible for managing daily job site operations, ensuring work is completed safely and to quality standards, and serving as the primary on-site contact for installation activities.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and direct a field crew performing installation of stairs, railings, and other miscellaneous metal structures
- Coordinate daily work activities with the General Contractor and other trades on site
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure proper layout and accurate installation
- Plan and organize labor, materials, and equipment to maintain efficient workflow
- Confirm crew certifications and enforce all job site safety requirements
- Complete daily reports, including field logs and vehicle inspections
- Oversee maintenance and proper use of tools, equipment, and company vehicles
- Act as the on-site safety lead, ensuring compliance with PPE requirements and project-specific safety plans
- Conduct and document toolbox talks and reinforce safe work practices
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in miscellaneous metals installation (preferred)
- Prior experience in a leadership or foreman role strongly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and safety documentation
- Strong math skills, including working with measurements, angles, and degrees
- Knowledge of AWS D1.1 standards and welding methods such as SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW
- Current welding certifications or ability to successfully complete a weld test
- Hands-on leader with strong field coordination skills
- Safety-focused mindset with attention to detail
- Reliable and organized with the ability to manage crews effectively
- Strong communication skills when working with contractors and team members
