Position OverviewThe Sales Porter supports the dealership’s Sales Department by managing vehicle flow, maintaining inventory presentation, and assisting with customer-facing vehicle coordination. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in automotive dealership operations while supporting a high-performing sales environment.

Prepare vehicles for sale by cleaning, fueling, and ensuring proper presentation for customer viewings and test drives
Safely move and park vehicles within the dealership lot and designated areas, as assigned
Assist with customer vehicle pick-up and delivery in a professional and courteous manner
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing vehicle inventory lot
Support the sales team by coordinating vehicle availability for showings and test drives
Receive and inspect incoming inventory, document visible damage, and verify vehicles meet dealership standards
Follow all dealership safety procedures and applicable Cal/OSHA guidelines
Perform additional job-related duties consistent with the role, as assigned by management
Valid California driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Ability to safely operate automatic vehicles (manual transmission preferred but not required)
Driving responsibilities are assigned based on role level and operational needs
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
Professional demeanor when interacting with customers and dealership staff
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to perform repetitive motions related to vehicle movement and preparation
