Job Description

NOW HIRING: BARTENDER — QUA DINING (Fountain Valley, CA)

MUST HAVE 1 YEAR OF BARTENDING EXPERIENCE
Pay: $17.00/hr + Tips
Location: QUA – Fountain Valley, CA

About the Role

QUA is looking for an experienced, energetic, and guest-focused Bartender to join our team. If you take pride in creating exceptional drinks, providing warm hospitality, and working in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to meet you!

Key Responsibilities
  • Take beverage orders from guests and servers.

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages based on standard recipes.

  • Learn guest names and build rapport with regulars.

  • Record all drink orders accurately into the POS system.

  • Accept payments, process credit cards, and make change when needed.

  • Wash and sanitize all bar glassware.

  • Prepare drink garnishes and small bar snacks/appetizers.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing bar area.

  • Clear and reset bar tables.

  • Present drink menus and answer guest questions.

  • Serve food to guests seated at the bar.

  • Report any maintenance or equipment issues to management.

  • Assist with restocking and inventory.

  • Support the restaurant team as needed to ensure smooth operations.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
  • 1 year of bartending experience required

  • Food Handler’s Card (training provided)

  • Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification (if required)

  • Strong working knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, and common drinks

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

  • Flexible schedule: must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Strong attention to detail and sanitation standards

  • Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members

  • Basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register/POS
