ROLE DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: (This is a seasonal 3-6 month opportunity)
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of project planning and execution, ensuring successful delivery from project inception through final closeout. This role coordinates resources, manages schedules and budgets, and serves as the primary communication point for clients and internal stakeholders. The Project Manager plays a critical role in aligning sales commitments, field execution, vendor coordination, and customer expectations to ensure a seamless project experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational / Process Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of the project lifecycle including conception, planning, execution, installation, and closeout
- Prepare labor and material quotes and participate in project planning and kickoff meetings
- Conduct site verification, attend construction meetings, and coordinate scheduling requirements
- Plan truck routes, field sequencing, and installation timing
- Coordinate vendors, subcontractors, materials, and internal team deliverables
- Manage punch completion, invoicing milestones, and final turnover requirements
Team Oversight
- Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Design, Installation, Customer Service, and Warehouse
- Support coordination across project stakeholders and field teams
- Help align subcontractors, installers, and vendors to timeline expectations
- Maintain strong communication cadence with all project contributors
Reporting Support
- Communicate project status, milestones, and updates to clients and internal teams
- Maintain project documentation, schedules, risk logs, and records
- Track milestone completion, billing triggers, and schedule risks
- Maintain visibility into issue resolution and open action items
Audit and Compliance
- Ensure adherence to company standards, safety protocols, and project requirements
- Document and manage change orders, scope shifts, and project adjustments
- Maintain compliance with customer site badging, insurance, and documentation requirements
- Support contract adherence and billing accuracy
Systems / Process Improvements
- Identify opportunities to improve project execution and coordination processes
- Support use of project management systems, milestone templates, and reporting dashboards
- Improve communication cadence and field readiness workflows
- Help reduce friction between sales handoff and field execution
Project Execution
- Conduct site visits and oversee installation progress
- Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
- Resolve issues proactively and ensure timely project completion
- Manage punch lists, invoicing, project closeout, and customer handoff
- Support post-installation follow-up and service transition when needed

KEY SELECTION & SUCCESS FACTORS
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Contract furniture, interiors, or construction coordination experience preferred
- PMP is a plus
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma required; some college preferred
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to read blueprints and installation plans
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination
- Strong customer relationship management capability

- Employee continuously sits using the computer, talking on the phone, processing project paper work, and attending. Duration up to 7 hours per day
- Employee constantly reaches out during work at desk. Height forward reach waist to chest; Frequency up to 30 times per hour
- Employee must rarely bend, squat, stoop, or kneel during filing tasks.
- Employee is occasionally exposed to ambient temperatures in the warehouse.
