Yosemite Valley Charter School is a tuition-free, public charter school serving students in transitional kindergarten through 12th grade in Fresno, San Benito, Merced, Madera, Mono, Monterey, Tulare, Kern, and Kings Counties. Under the direction of the Director of Special Education, the School Nurse provides health and developmental assessments, collaborates with IEP teams, and develops and oversees student health plans for students enrolled at Yosemite Valley and Monarch River Academy Charter Schools. As a core member of the Special Education Team, the Nurse works in partnership with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers to ensure the health and safety of students with special needs and health concerns.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  
  

• Valid California School Nurse Credential
  
  

• Current First Aid and CPR Certification

• Minimum of two years of nursing experience in the U.S.
