Remote Technology Designer

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Technology Project Designer - REMOTE. In this role, you will contribute to transforming the built environment by creating innovative technology systems that enhance resilience and connectivity. Collaborating with engineers, designers, and consultants, you will design cutting-edge technology solutions for various infrastructures, ensuring high standards of quality and specification.   • Support the Sr. Consultant in guiding customers through the programming and visioning phase.
  • Produce programmatic reports, sketches, and budgets for client communications.
  • Lead project meetings, document minutes, and maintain action items.
  • Assist in gathering and documenting customer requirements during user meetings.
  • Develop detailed design documents including specifications and drawings.
  • Help in creating RFPs for equipment/services and assist in proposal evaluations.
  • Oversee construction phases and conduct site visits for quality assurance.
  • Manage punch lists and support system commissioning and user training.
  • Attend professional development seminars to stay updated on industry trends.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in ICT technology is essential.
  • Experience in aviation projects is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and productivity tools.
  • Expertise in Revit and AutoCAD software.
  • Skilled in developing ICT system designs and specifications.
  • Familiarity with all phases of building construction planning and delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive approach to learning new software and technology.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for project-related and industry events.
