Parts Advisor at Santa Barbara Auto Group – Santa Barbara, California

Santa Barbara Auto Group is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Parts Advisor to join our Parts Department. This role is essential in supporting our service technicians, wholesale customers, and retail clients by providing accurate parts information and exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians, service advisors, and customers with parts identification and selection
• Accurately look up, price, and sell automotive parts and accessories
• Process parts orders, returns, and special orders
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with stocking and bin organization
• Communicate with vendors and track incoming shipments
• Follow dealership procedures and maintain a clean, organized parts department

Qualifications

• Previous automotive parts or dealership experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems
• Experience with CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, DealerTrack, or similar DMS
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
