Ideal Construction is seeking skilled Equipment Operators with a strong background in site prep and fine grading. This is a hands-on field role operating dozers, graders, skid steers, loaders, and excavators to deliver precise grading and subgrade preparation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. • Operate heavy equipment such as graders, dozers, skid steers, loaders, and excavators for site prep and fine grading

• Perform fine grading to precise tolerances and finish specs

• Understand and execute subgrade preparation, base installation, and compaction

• Read and interpret grade stakes, blueprints, and laser levels

• Maintain equipment and perform daily inspections for safe operation

• Adhere to all jobsite safety standards and procedures

• Assist with labor tasks and general site work as needed

• Communicate effectively with field supervisors and crew members

• 2+ years of experience in equipment operation with emphasis on fine grading

• Proficient in operating a range of equipment (grader, dozer, excavator, etc.)

• Strong understanding of grade control, compaction, and base installation

• Ability to read grade stakes, blueprints, and use laser levels

• Safety-first mindset with a commitment to jobsite protocols

• Willingness to support team with physical labor when necessary

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
