Senior Caregiver / Floater / Emergency Responder

Dovida is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Senior Caregiver to join our team in a vital Floater / Emergency Responder role. This position is ideal for a compassionate, confident caregiver who thrives on variety, responsibility, and supporting both clients and colleagues in the community.

As a key member of our care team, you will provide last-minute cover, respond to urgent care needs, and monitor service quality while reporting any issues or concerns encountered in the community.

Please note this role involves travelling to and from towns all across County Mayo.

Role Requirements

Availability Monday to Friday and alternate weekends

Full clean driving licence and access to your own car

Previous caregiving experience essential (senior or community care experience highly desirable)

QQI Level 5 in Care Skills, Care of the Older Person, and Patient Moving & Handling preferred

Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently

A proactive, reliable, and professional approach to care delivery
