The Event Server has the responsibility and opportunity to contribute to a memorable event through the service role at events. No experience needed. We will train you on all the necessary skills. The scope of this position considers interaction with clients and their guests, proper service etiquette and procedures, team work, and the ability to follow the professional service guidelines set forth by Butler’s Pantry.

Responsibilities:

• Cooperate with Service Captains and co-workers to ensure a proper dining experience through delivering items, fulfilling guest needs, removing courses, passing hors d'oeuvres, and other related duties
• Assist in the unloading and loading of the truck at the event, following proper procedures
• Maintain focus on assignment at all times in an effort to maximize efficiency, quality and productivity
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude being mindful that competent and quick service help to create a positive overall event experience
• Strive to provide all guests with a positive lasting experience

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 6 months to 1 year industry-relevant experience preferred
• Professional appearance and conduct
• Ability to successfully operate in a team environment and provide support to co-workers
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
• Mature judgment and ability to handle a fast pace environment in a professional manner
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to work a sometimes physically demanding position that requires standing for long periods of time and ability to lift heavy loads
• Reliable transportation
• Hepatitis A vaccination is required
