Job Description:

The Feathers is a lively and welcoming pub at the heart of Warrington, known for great atmosphere and great service. We’re expanding our bar team and looking for enthusiastic individuals who love working with people and delivering a quality customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Serve a range of drinks including pints, spirits, wines, and cocktails

• Provide friendly, attentive customer service throughout every interaction

• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and safety behind the bar area

• Handle cash and card transactions accurately using till systems

• Restock, rotate, and check stock levels

• Prepare garnishes, glasses, and cocktail ingredients

• Suggest drinks and offer recommendations when appropriate

• Follow health & safety and licensing laws

• Help create a warm, welcoming environment for guests

• Communicate and cooperate effectively with other bar staff to ensure efficient service

What We’re Looking For:

• Friendly, outgoing attitude

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Confidence and creativity when making cocktails

• Ability to stay calm and positive during busy periods

• Reliable, punctual, and committed to teamwork

• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness

• Previous bar or hospitality experience is a plus — but not essential

• Must be 18+ due to the nature of serving alcohol

• Availability for day, evening and weekend shifts is preferred
