Front Office Administrator at Athena Medical Management LLC – Fairhope, Alabama

• Welcome patients to our Women’s Imaging Specialists facility in a friendly and professional manner
• Verify patients’ identity by drivers’ license and insurance card; verify that insurance is effective
• Assist patients with intake forms, both paper and electronic
• Manage the daily appointment schedule and communicate to clinicians any exceptions/additions/inconsistencies to the schedule
• Make outbound phone calls to remind patients of upcoming appointments; rescheduling appointments when necessary
• Schedule new and existing patients
• Scan, fax and file documents as needed assuring all documents are in their proper places
• Master Infinitt scheduling software
• Access Excel spreadsheets to add, omit, and create data regarding productivity using Sharepoint
• Provide patient education when necessary
• Maintain a clean and orderly waiting room
• Complete general office duties when assigned
• Complete all assigned trainings

One (1) year medical office experience

• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, TEAMS, SharePoint, and Word
• Keen attention to detail
• Exceptional time management skills
• Exceptional conflict resolution skills
• Customer service training, either on-the-job or through a certificate program
• Ability to travel to other WIS sites on occasion
• Ability to sit for hours at a time typing on a computer keyboard
• Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 20 pounds
