Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistants interested in shifts through VeeShift should have:

• Active CNA certification in good standing within the state of practice
• 
  
• Minimum six (6) months of CNA experience. Beneficial to have: 6 months experience in Senior living Environments including assisted living or skilled nursing settings.
• Ability to meet onboarding and credentialing requirements required by participating facilities
• 
  
• Strong communication skills and a professional, patient-focused approach
• Hands-on patient care experience in nursing homes, assisted living, hospitals, or home care.
• Experience with assisting patients with daily activities: bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, mobility, and basic hygiene.
• Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and reporting changes to nursing staff.
• Knowledge of infection control, patient safety, and HIPAA compliance.
• Compassion, patience, and empathy for patients.
• Good communication skills with patients and care teams.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently under supervision.
