About This Position
CreditAssociates, a very successful and rapidly growing consumer financial services company located near Highway 121 and the Dallas North Tollway in Plano Texas, seeks a Full Stack Developer to work on the next generation of our core technology. Our ideal candidate for this position is someone with 4 years or more of professional development experience. This primarily includes PHP, JavaScript, Python and backend SQL with experience in Cloud technology. A willingness and ability to learn our tech stack languages and systems is a must. We are a small dev team, so you will have ample opportunity to learn and develop your skills. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or similar Experience implementing both frontend and backend applications Web development experience and an eye for good UI PHP 8+ including familiarity with Laravel or other MVC framework Python 3.9+ Experience creating frontend UI using HTML/JavaScript Familiarity with Git version control as well as Git deployment flows Good understanding of relational databases and experience writing SQL (MySQL preferred, Aurora MySQL is a plus) Understanding of and implementation of RESTful APIs 3 years of experience with object-oriented programming in a fully typed language Good understanding of basic data structures and data typing Knowledge of concepts, best practices, architecture patterns, and software development in general Characteristics:Ability to work in a collaborative team environment Good problem-solving skills Experience developing scalable, enterprise-level applications Demonstrated ability to proactively manage tasks, projects, and issues Self-directed and self-motivated with a proven ability to get things done Demonstrated team player, as well as a collaborative problem solver Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work in an iterative prototyping environment with evolving specifications Preferred Experience (2 to 3 years in each):AWS or other cloud environments Exposure to AI related technologies Salesforce Flows and APEX MySQL or other SQL databases Java or other object-oriented programming languages Experience with implementing Event Driven architecture About You:You are highly motivated and have a passion for creating and supporting great products.
