Full Stack Developer at CreditAssociates – Plano, Texas

CreditAssociates, a very successful and rapidly growing consumer financial services company located near Highway 121 and the Dallas North Tollway in Plano Texas, seeks a Full Stack Developer to work on the next generation of our core technology. Our ideal candidate for this position is someone with 4 years or more of professional development experience. This primarily includes PHP, JavaScript, Python and backend SQL with experience in Cloud technology. A willingness and ability to learn our tech stack languages and systems is a must. We are a small dev team, so you will have ample opportunity to learn and develop your skills. Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or similar

Experience implementing both frontend and backend applications

Web development experience and an eye for good UI

PHP 8+ including familiarity with Laravel or other MVC framework

Python 3.9+

Experience creating frontend UI using HTML/JavaScript

Familiarity with Git version control as well as Git deployment flows

Good understanding of relational databases and experience writing SQL (MySQL preferred, Aurora MySQL is a plus)

Understanding of and implementation of RESTful APIs

3 years of experience with object-oriented programming in a fully typed language

Good understanding of basic data structures and data typing

Knowledge of concepts, best practices, architecture patterns, and software development in general

AWS or other cloud environments

Exposure to AI related technologies

Java or other object-oriented programming languages

Experience with implementing Event Driven architecture

Responsibilities:

Participate in all team activities - project planning, project execution, maintenance, and support

Provide end-to-end application development from UI/UX, algorithms and code, all the way to testing

Write “clean”, well designed, reusable code

Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
