Position Summary
Talantage is currently seeking a full-time Site Medical Director to oversee and provide clinical services to an incarcerated population at for our clients correctional institution.
Under the supervision of the Regional Medical Director, the Site Medical Director provides clinical leadership, direct patient care, and oversight of medical services to ensure high-quality, compliant healthcare delivery within a correctional setting.

Position Summary
Talantage is currently seeking a full-time Site Medical Director to oversee and provide clinical services to an incarcerated population at for our clients correctional institution.
Under the supervision of the Regional Medical Director, the Site Medical Director provides clinical leadership, direct patient care, and oversight of medical services to ensure high-quality, compliant healthcare delivery within a correctional setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical direction and direct patient care to meet service delivery requirements at the assigned site
- Supervise, evaluate, and ensure the quality of medical services provided to pre-trial and incarcerated populations
- Provide clinical supervision and leadership to medical staff
- Chair or actively participate in committees, including but not limited to:
- Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI)
- Infection Control
- Pharmacy and Therapeutics
- Interface with agency clinical and administrative leadership regarding medical services and operational issues
- Collaborate closely with onsite providers and nursing staff to ensure coordinated, comprehensive healthcare delivery
- Ensure compliance with applicable clinical standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school (required)
- Active, unrestricted MD/DO license in Maryland or ability to obtain one (required)
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine (required)
- Active DEA registration or ability to obtain one (required)
- Prior leadership or medical directorship experience (preferred)
- Ability to successfully pass credentialing, background checks, and security clearance
