Duties for This Position
Helps ensure the safety and security of staff, patients, patrons and property of Central Valley Medical Center. Prevents unauthorized access, deters criminal activity and responds promptly and appropriately to security threats and emergencies. Provides a visible and vigilant presence to deter criminal activity.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Armed security guard license or graduate of Peace Officer Standard and Training (POST) Course.
Experience
Preference given to those candidates with one year or more experience as an armed security guard or police officer.
Required Skills: Demonstrated human relations skills and ability to effectively communicate. Strong observation, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Excellent interpersonal capabilities to interact appropriately with staff, patients and law enforcement.
