Job Overview

Trident Dock & Dredge Inc is seeking an experienced Marine Construction Sales and Estimator to support business development, client relationships, and project estimating for residential and commercial marine construction projects. This role combines technical estimating, client-facing sales, and administrative coordination. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and professional, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering accurate estimates and exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and prepare accurate cost estimates for residential and commercial marine construction projects

  • Review project plans, specifications, and site conditions to determine scope and pricing

  • Work directly with clients to understand project needs and provide professional sales support

  • Prepare and present proposals, bids, and supporting documentation

  • Coordinate with project management and field teams to ensure estimate accuracy and constructability

  • Track leads, proposals, and client communications through the sales process

  • Support contract documentation, change orders, and pricing adjustments as needed

  • Maintain organized records, estimates, and sales documentation

  • Represent Trident Dock & Dredge professionally with clients, vendors, and partners

  • Assist with other administrative or sales-related duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in construction estimating, sales, or related construction roles

  • Associate degree preferred (or equivalent estimating and construction experience)

  • Strong administrative, organizational, and multitasking skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

  • High attention to detail with pride in accuracy and professionalism

  • Strong work ethic and ability to manage deadlines independently

  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build long-term client relationships

  • Proficiency with estimating tools, spreadsheets, and standard office software

  • No licenses or certifications required

Compensation & Benefits
  • $75,000 $85,000 annual salary and annual bonus
