JOB DESCRIPTION: SERVER

Summary:

Provides an outstanding guest service experience in an enthusiastic and energetic fashion while meeting or exceeding guests expectations

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guest and take beverage and food orders in a prompt and professional manner
• Accurately takes and enters guest orders in computer system
• Have strong knowledge of menu to offer suggestions and choices
• Serve menu items and beverages at appropriate temperatures, with proper garnishes and accompaniments
• Clean and stock service areas and assigned stations. Pre bus guest tables to enhance guest dining experience
• Follow all safe food handling procedures
• Complete opening and/or closing duties
• Other duties and special projects as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent Guest Service skills
• Ability to follow menu specifications, read tickets and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Ability to follow directions, work in a fast paced, customer responsive environment
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate with associates, management and guests
• Ability to comply with local laws regarding food handling or serving of alcohol
• Demonstrate knowledge of applicable food safety regulations
• Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift
• Minimum lifting, pushing and pulling of 40 pounds
• Pushing, bending, stooping, walking, upward reaching, manual dexterity, seeing, hearing, writing and typing
