About This Position
Works collaboratively with staff in the development, planning and evaluation of health education programs aimed at addressing health disparities among specific groups within the community. Supervises activities and implements and evaluates clinical education strategies that meet specified and measurable objectives; develops and revises curriculum modules and educational materials. Plans education aimed at the clinical groups. Supervises float pool staff. Ensures education across the organizations consistent and thorough. Works to ensure Float Pool accountability and retention. Works to expand the clinical involvement of the PCT Float Pool.
Associates degree in Nursing.
Three (3) years experience in clinical setting combined with education experience and one (1) year supervisory experience.
Current US state RN license with authorization to practice in the state of GA. Current AHA/ARC BLS and AHA ACLS/ARC ALS certifications.
Excellent communication skills – listening, verbal and written. Ability to use language confidently and appropriately. Ability to share information one to one. Ability to master information, plan and lead classes, and plan on-boarding for new staff. Ability to set goals and plan. Ability to juggle priorities and manage time. Ability to identify and access resources. Ability to network and build coalitions. Ability to provide follow-up. Counseling and relationship building skills. Leadership skills. Broad knowledge about the clinical setting.
