YOUR JOB AS A GRILLER

bd's Grillers are skilled professionals in all aspects of great stir-fry! Grillers are competent in the setup and maintenance of the Grill and all of its tools of the trade – you are an expert bd's swordsman!. Superlative quality is your standard, and you are always perfecting your cooking techniques. bd's grill is a highly visible distinction and you are an integral part in making the guest experience a memorable. You create Mongo Magic so that each and every guest leaves happy!

You will learn the following bd's Griller objectives:

• Communicates in a positive manner
• Professional and well groomed
• Execute a recovery strategy and know when to involve a manager.
• Grill set-up and maintenance
• Greeting guests with enthusiasm.
• Sword handling
• Cooks food correctly and at proper temperatures
• Follows SOP for hot bowls, eggs/cheese, changing swords and veggie and allergy bowls
• Stir-fry blading and delivery
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation behind the grill.
• Guest and grill interaction; initiates conversations in a friendly manner.
• Serves clean, great looking bowls with correct plate presentation
• Teamwork

bd's Mongolian Grill is a fun place to eat and work. We want you to enjoy your job, and we will do all that we can to provide a fun and energetic atmosphere. To help you understand your training, we have written a manual to be a comprehensive explanation of all of your tasks. We'll take you through this manual during this training period, and we also encourage you to continue to refer to it as a source of instruction for your further learning. Take advantage of the knowledge in the manual, be willing to learn from it, don't be afraid to ask us any questions, and have fun!
