Occupational Therapist - Outpatient at North Kansas City Hospital – North Kansas City, Missouri

SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Department Director and the Senior Occupational Therapist, provides quality occupational therapy services to patients through evaluation and administration of treatment to restore function and prevent disabilities. OTR to work in outpatient clinic. Experience in lymphedema, hand therapy, pelvic floor therapy would be ideal for this candidate (or interest/ enthusiasm to train into these if not already trained). Schedule will be 4-10 hour days, with day off to be determined at time of hire. Outpatient OT staff are cross-trained to support acute for 1 holiday and 1 holiday weekend per year (estimated).

SPECIAL SKILLS: Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

LICENSE/CERT: Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), OTR (Occupational Therapist), NBCOT (National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy)

EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors - Occupational Therapy
