Job Summary

The Field Service Technician reports directly to the Operations Manager and will take a proactive approach to maintaining and repairing a vast array of dewatering and treatment systems and equipment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Complete all tasks according to Griffin SOPs and JSAs.
  • Proactively visit jobsites to monitor dewatering system performance, meet with clients, and make repairs on systems or equipment as needed.
  • Complete site inspection paperwork, field daily reports,
  • Effectively tune and troubleshoot dewatering systems, pumps and electrical equipment.
  • Safely operate hand and power tools, pumps, and electrical equipment in the field.
  • Maintain orderliness of installed Griffin equipment and materials.
  • Follow directives accurately and efficiently.
  • Effectively communicate with client, supervisor and co-workers.

Job Requirements

  • Legal to work in US.
  • Must have CDL Class A
  • Pass a required drug and background screen.
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Percent of Travel Required – up to 50%.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • OSHA 30 Certified.

Preferred Experience

  • Prior dewatering experience with various system types.
  • Experience as a field technician or similar job function.
  • CDL (Class A or B).
  • TWIC Card.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and stand.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to load, unload, and move large equipment and tools.
  • Continuous walking, stair climbing, and lifting.
  • Full range of physical motions associated with general labor work.
  • Continual exposure to all outdoor weather conditions (extreme heat and cold); exposure to noise and fumes generated from motorized equipment.

Compensation

  • Title and/or Salary may be adjusted based experience or skills
