Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
The Advanced Technologies Specialist (ATS) participates as a member of the multidisciplinary team in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive patient care services centered on extracorporeal therapies.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Completion of University Health or other ELSO-based ECMO training program preferred. Minimum one (1) year of ECMO experience preferred. Degree preferred. Must have a minimum two (2) years' critical care experience (PICU, NICU, CICU, EC). Must maintain current BLS, PALS, ACLS and University Hospital ECMO certification.
LICENSURE
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas is mandatory.
