Welder at CERTITEMP, INC. – Lake Alfred, Florida

SCHEDULE: Shifts will be 8-hour workdays, 40 hours per week. Workdays will be Monday- Friday.

START DATE: ASAP

DURATION: Temporary to Permanent

Under the direction of the Fabrication Manger, the responsibilities of the Welder / Fabricator position include fitting and joining, fabricating, and repairing metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques in accordance with product specifications and production schedules.

Perform welding duties using a wire fed welder. .035 Hard Wire, MIG and TIG Aluminum.

Weld steel components with welding equipment as specified by layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, or verbal instructions.

Work includes set-up, laying out work using jigs/fixtures or hand layouts to fabricate parts and/or rework finished products.

Work with fitters or fitters/welders to assist in the fabrication or welding of multi-component parts.

Operate forklifts, hoists, hand power tools, slings, grinders, cutting torch, and other hand tools related

to the jobs needs.

Inspect and correct welds as necessary to meet product specifications.

Read, understand, and follow job order specifications, engineering drawings, and/or work orders.

Perform a variety of complicated tasks, as required.

General Physical Requirements for an employee in this Position are as follows:

Max Weight Lifting up to 60lbs Walking 7-10 hours per day

Repetitive Lifting up to 35lbs Standing 7-10 hours per day

Lifting Over Head up to 35lbs Sitting up to 1 hour per day

Carrying Up to 35lbs Crawling up to 1 hour per day

Pushing or Pulling with 75lbs of force Kneeling up to 4 hours per day

Pinching or Gripping up to 15lbs of force Squatting up to 1 hour per day

Reaching away from body Climbing and working from ladder (rare)

This position requires a lot of repetitive motion:

Deadlifting up to 35lbs objects from floor to chest level

Gripping and holding up to 15lbs away from body

Twisting wrists and hands to apply clamps

Pushing and or pulling with up to 75lbs of force using full body or isolated muscle groups

Bending/Twisting/Stooping Constantly throughout the day. be eligible to work in the United States
