About This Position

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient. Your ultimate goal will be to help patients improve their communication and swallowing abilities, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Experience working with patients of all ages and backgrounds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a healthcare setting
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient
  • Providing therapy to patients to improve their communication and swallowing abilities
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records

Skills:

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will use your expertise in communication and swallowing disorders to assess, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages. You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals. You will also need to be detail-oriented and organized, as you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records. Additionally, proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and bilingualism in English and Spanish are preferred skills that will enhance your ability to provide comprehensive care to patients.
