CNC Laser Table Operator in Sioux Rapids at Ranco Fertiservice Inc

We are currently seeking a safety-conscious and detail-oriented candidate for the position of CNC Laser Table Operator. The ideal candidate will possess strong blueprint reading skills and have previous experience in both manual and CNC plasma operation and or CNC laser operations. Additional skills in areas such as lathe operation, press brake operation, welding, and milling are highly advantageous.

• Operate and maintain CNC laser cutting machines efficiently and safely.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine cutting specifications and requirements.
• Set up and adjust machine parameters, including cutting speed, depth, and angles, to ensure accurate and high-quality cuts.
• Load and position metal sheets or plates onto the laser table, ensuring proper alignment and securing materials as needed.
• Monitor the cutting process, inspecting completed workpieces for quality and adjusting settings as necessary.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC laser cutting machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize and complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, such as quantities, dimensions, and specifications.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing, preferably in a similar CNC laser cutting role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Familiarity with CNC laser cutting machines and their operation.
• Additional skills in lathe operation, press brake operation, welding, milling, or related areas are a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, collaborating effectively to meet production goals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) and operate machinery safely.
• Willingness to comply with pre-employment drug screening requirements.
