Canyon Coffee is opening a new shop in El Sereno, where we are looking to hire both experienced and aspiring baristas to serve excellent coffee beverages with superb hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to company standards

- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and dining area

- Handle register operations and process transactions accurately

- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers

- Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

- Promote menu items and upsell products to enhance customer experience

Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a customer service or food and beverage role is preferred

- Some priority will be given to those with 1 or more years of specialty coffee barista experience

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation is a plus

- Positive attitude, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset
