This is a senior people leadership opportunity focused on shaping and executing the talent acquisition strategy for a rapidly growing organization in India. You will lead a recruiting function spanning both technology and non-technology hiring, while partnering closely with senior regional leadership. The role combines strategic workforce planning, executive advisory, team leadership, and hands-on involvement in critical senior-level searches. You will help build scalable, data-informed recruiting practices that improve hiring quality, predictability, and efficiency. With significant executive exposure, you will influence how talent acquisition supports organizational growth and long-term workforce strategy. The environment is fast-paced and highly collaborative, offering substantial scope to build structure, strengthen accountability, and develop a high-performing recruiting organization.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead and shape the India talent acquisition strategy in close partnership with senior leadership, HR, Finance, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Develop recruiting plans aligned with business objectives, organizational growth, workforce requirements, and long-term hiring priorities.

  • Establish clear performance expectations, measurable recruiting standards, accountability mechanisms, and development plans across the talent acquisition team.
  • Serve as a strategic talent advisor to VP- and SVP-level leaders, providing market intelligence, hiring recommendations, workforce insights, and guidance on talent strategy.

  • Develop and own industry and university recruiting strategies for India, building sustainable talent pipelines for experienced professionals and early-career talent.
  • Strengthen relationships with hiring leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, positioning Talent Acquisition as a strategic business partner rather than a transactional service.
  • Use recruiting metrics, market data, and business insights to evaluate tradeoffs, identify risks, manage costs, and improve hiring outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement across recruiting processes, systems, and operating models to create scalable and consistent practices.
  • Lead the team through organizational change while maintaining performance, engagement, quality, and accountability.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of India hiring programs and ensure recruiting outcomes remain aligned with broader organizational and revenue objectives.
Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading recruiting teams, including experience managing managers and developing high-performing talent acquisition functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to set measurable performance standards, establish accountability, coach team members, and lead through organizational change.
  • Strong business acumen and a clear understanding of how workforce planning and hiring strategy contribute to organizational growth and design.
  • Experience partnering directly with senior executives and business leaders, ideally including VP- and SVP-level stakeholders.
  • Proven experience managing both technology and non-technology recruiting across multiple functions.
  • Hands-on experience leading senior-level and executive searches, including Director-level and above positions.
  • Strong understanding of talent markets in India and the ability to translate market conditions into practical hiring strategies.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to operate independently, navigate ambiguity, and make sound decisions within a broad scope of responsibility.
  • Highly organized, execution-focused, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities can evolve quickly.
  • A strategic yet hands-on leadership style, with the ability to move between long-term talent strategy and direct involvement in critical searches.
Benefits:
  • Senior leadership role with significant visibility and exposure to regional executives and business leaders.
  • Opportunity to shape and own the India talent acquisition strategy and operating model.
