Solutions Architect – ERP (Finance) in India at Jobgether

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Solutions Architect – ERP (Finance) based in India.

This is a senior ERP architecture role focused on delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions for clients across the full implementation lifecycle.
You will lead complex projects from requirements analysis and solution design through configuration, testing, training, cutover, and post-go-live support.
The role combines deep functional expertise with client engagement, solution architecture, data migration, integrations, and AI-enabled ERP capabilities.
You will work directly with clients to translate business needs into scalable solutions and lead workshops, pilots, demonstrations, and training sessions.
You will also help shape pre-sales opportunities by developing compelling business scenarios, estimates, scopes of work, and solution demonstrations.
The position offers significant exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Copilot, automation, and emerging AI technologies within a collaborative remote environment.
While primarily work-from-home, the role may involve travel to client sites and requires strong communication, leadership, and delivery capabilities.

• Lead end-to-end implementations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, including Finance, Project Operations, Human Resources, and Copilot for Finance, covering analysis, design, build, testing, training, cutover, operations, and support.
• Manage client engagements and facilitate workshops to identify, clarify, and document business requirements.
• Translate requirements into Business Scenario Documents, Functional Requirements Documents, user stories, and Azure DevOps work items.
• Lead Conference Room Pilots and solution demonstrations to validate and showcase proposed Dynamics 365 solutions.
• Develop high-quality examples and templates for the wider team, including solution design documents for complex customizations and report modifications.
• Lead data mapping activities and data imports into Dynamics 365 using data entities.
• Define and oversee field mappings between Dynamics 365 and integrated systems.
• Lead configuration of dual-write integrations between Dynamics 365, Power Apps, and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement applications where required.
• Review solution design, customization, reporting, data mapping, and integration documentation produced by other team members, ensuring comprehensive coverage of boundary conditions and test scenarios.
• Oversee configuration of Dynamics 365 and Copilot capabilities according to project requirements.
• Provide leadership across functional, integration, and automated testing, including use of the Regression Suite Automation Tool.
• Lead client and internal training on Dynamics 365 and associated systems.
• Manage pre-go-live cutover activities and post-go-live support, resolving issues and escalating complex matters to Microsoft when necessary.
• Maintain relevant Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect certification and continuously develop expertise in AI-enabled ERP solutions.
• Support pre-sales activities for strategic Dynamics 365 opportunities by developing business scenarios, configuring solutions, leveraging AI, and delivering compelling demonstrations.
• Lead the adoption and use of AI and Copilot capabilities within the organization, including training and the creation of AI agents relevant to ERP implementation environments.
• Develop realistic project estimates, scopes of work, assumptions, and delivery plans covering customizations, reports, workflows, batch jobs, upgrades, integrations, and data migration.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 8+ years of experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Dynamics AX 2012 R3.
• Strong functional knowledge of Dynamics 365 Finance, particularly General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Expense Management, and Project Management and Accounting (PMA).
• Experience leading full-cycle ERP implementations, from business analysis and solution design through deployment and post-go-live support.
• Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 configuration, data entities, data migration, integrations, and dual-write capabilities.
• Experience with functional, integration, and automated testing, ideally including the Regression Suite Automation Tool.
• Ability to lead client workshops, Conference Room Pilots, training sessions, and solution demonstrations.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to communicate complex ERP concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences.
• Excellent English communication skills, with strong conversational proficiency.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed project teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, leadership, and presentation skills.
• Experience supporting pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations, estimation, scope definition, and proposal development, is highly valuable.
• Interest and practical experience in AI, Copilot, and AI-enabled business solutions within ERP environments.
• CA or CPA certification is an added advantage.
