This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Freelance Software Tester With Smart TVs based in Spain.

Join a flexible, remote testing project focused on evaluating a streaming application across compatible Smart TVs. You’ll perform functional testing and help identify issues that could affect navigation, playback, localization, and overall user experience. The role involves executing structured test cases and reporting defects with clear, actionable evidence. Testing assignments are short-term and freelance, with schedules arranged around your availability. Software testing experience is welcome but not required, with training available for newcomers. You’ll work remotely while contributing to the quality of a streaming experience used at global scale.

• Perform functional testing of a streaming application on compatible Smart TV devices.
• Install application builds on your Smart TV by following provided instructions and testing materials.
• Execute test cases covering navigation, video playback, login and account behavior, subtitles, audio, content discovery, localization, live events, and overall functionality.
• Identify, document, and report defects with clear reproduction steps, screenshots, and/or screen recordings.
• Provide feedback on issues and overall application quality during each assigned testing run.
• Use the provided testing platform and defect-tracking tools to access assignments, follow instructions, and submit results.
• Complete testing assignments within agreed schedules, with individual runs generally requiring approximately 2–4 hours and some potentially lasting longer.

• Be at least 18 years old and physically located in Romania during the relevant testing period.
• Be comfortable navigating a streaming application in Italian; native or bilingual Italian proficiency is preferred.
• Own a compatible Smart TV running Titan OS, specifically a supported Philips, Vestel, or JVC TV. The device operating system must be verified before participation.
• Be able to dedicate approximately 30 minutes to setting up your testing account and have flexible availability for individual testing assignments.
• Previous software testing or QA experience is a plus, but beginners are welcome and can access free preparatory training.
• Be comfortable following detailed test instructions and documenting findings accurately.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, clear written communication, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Have access to a stable internet connection and be able to use the required online testing and defect-reporting tools.
