Deli/Prep Worker in MORRISVILLE, North Carolina at Southern Foodservice Management Inc

Southern Foodservice Management, a national contract food service company, is now looking to hire a Deli/Prep Worker for our Syneos Health location in Morrisville, NC.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assemble deli items, including sandwiches, wraps, and salads according to company recipes and customer preferences.
• Operate deli equipment such as slicers, grills, and ovens safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized deli station, following all sanitation and food safety guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and fulfilling their orders accurately.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure consistency in service and food quality.
• Replenishing food items as required during service, breakdown service areas after the meal period and assist with general kitchen duties as needed, including cleaning and dishwashing.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in a deli, cafeteria, or food service setting preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work assigned shifts, including occasional early mornings or late afternoons.

Other Duties and Tasks

• All staff members are also responsible for other duties or tasks that are assigned by the Assistant Managers or Supervisors, as a part of any “Job” or “Position” assigned during a normal work schedule. Team members may be assigned to support the meal production, service and cleaning after the meal or the dining facility.
