Pay: $25.50 per hour

Position Overview

Join Hudson Yards Experiences as a Seasonal Guest Experience Guide Nightlife, supporting late- night events "100 Above" & "Marquee Skydeck" at Edge.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an energetic, polished, and memorable guest experience high above Manhattan. We are seeking adaptable, dependable, and guest-focused professionals who thrive in fast-paced event environments and are passionate about creating exceptional moments against the backdrop of the New York City skyline.

Candidates must be available and comfortable working overnight shifts throughout the season. Friday and Saturday night availability is required.

What Youll Do

Deliver Exceptional Guest Service

• Welcome guests and provide polished, attentive, and professional service.
• Maintain a visible, engaging, and approachable presence throughout the event.
• Respond to guest questions, concerns, and requests with professionalism and care.
• Help create a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest.

Support Nightlife Operations

• Manage guest flow, queues, and event capacity in a high-volume environment.
• Assist guests as they move through the attraction and event spaces.
• Communicate event policies, procedures, and expectations clearly.
• Address and de-escalate guest concerns in a calm and solution-oriented manner.
• Support light event setup and other operational needs - as assigned.

Maintain Safety and Operational Standards

• Monitor crowd flow and identify potential safety or operational concerns.
• Enforce event policies and safety requirements consistently and professionally.
• Collaborate with operations, security, event staff, and other internal partners to maintain a safe, organized, and enjoyable environment.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and emergency protocols.

Qualifications

• One to two years of experience in customer service, hospitality, nightlife, events, entertainment, or attractions preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident, personable, and professional when engaging with guests.
• Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented in fast-paced or high-pressure situations.
• Ability to adapt to changing event and operational needs.
• Strong attendance, punctuality, and commitment to working the full seasonal schedule.
• Ability to work collaboratively with operations, security, event staff, and other cross-functional teams.
• Must be available to work Friday and Saturday nights, with occasional Thursday and Sunday shifts.
• Must be comfortable working overnight hours through 3:45 AM.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to navigate stairs and move throughout multiple event areas.
• Ability to assist with crowd movement and light event setup.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
