This role plays a critical part in shaping and guiding enterprise-wide compensation strategy within a complex, fast-moving organization. Acting as a trusted advisor to HR partners and business leaders, you will translate compensation philosophy into practical, data-driven decisions that ensure fairness, competitiveness, and compliance. You will lead job evaluation, market pricing, and pay recommendation activities while supporting key compensation cycles such as promotions, offers, and retention actions. The position requires strong analytical capability paired with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate nuanced pay decisions. Operating in a highly collaborative environment, you will help strengthen job architecture and pay governance across the organization. This is a strategic, high-impact role where your expertise directly shapes talent decisions and workforce equity at scale.
In this role, you will serve as a key advisor on enterprise compensation matters, ensuring pay decisions are aligned with internal frameworks and external market benchmarks. You will partner closely with HR and business leaders to provide guidance on compensation strategy, job structuring, and equitable pay practices. Responsibilities include:
- Providing strategic compensation advisory support for hiring, promotions, internal mobility, and retention decisions.
- Leading job evaluation and titling efforts using established job architecture and leveling frameworks.
- Conducting market analysis and interpreting compensation survey data to inform competitive pay recommendations.
- Supporting annual and ongoing compensation cycles, including planning, budgeting, and review processes.
- Ensuring compliance with governance standards, pay equity principles, and internal compensation policies.
- Identifying and escalating complex or high-risk compensation scenarios when needed.
This role requires extensive experience in compensation or HR consulting, with a strong ability to translate data into actionable compensation strategies. You will bring deep analytical capability, sound judgment, and confidence working with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Key qualifications include:
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5+ years in compensation design, administration, or consulting.
- Strong expertise in job evaluation, market pricing, and compensation structures.
