Job Description
Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing and executing all inventory-related tasks, including cycle counts, biannual inventory processes, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records.
Major Job Responsibilities/Job Duties:
- Conduct weekly freezer cycle counts into Qantel and conduct biannual physical inventory.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and errors through thorough research and working directly with the inventory department.
- Maintain accuracy in the locator system, including items stored in the freezer.
- Collaborate with the finance team on inventory-related reporting and audits for the month-end inventory.
- Helps with on-lot truck inventory, gift wrap boxes to maintain accurate inventory
- Runs daily inventory report for the inventory manager
- Ensures accurate daily transfers are being maintained for inventory accuracy
- Back up to the receiving and inventory clerk
- Organize employee sales and coordinate related inventory logistics.
- Fills in for Inventory Manager as needed.
- Ensure clean and organized inventory storage areas.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Microsoft Applications (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- May operate a forklift (traditional or Bendi) if certifiedthough not required.
- AS400
- Qantel
- Take initiative to plan and manage own schedule
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience in Qantel and AS400 preferred (not required)
- Ability to work independently
