Job Description
About Cozey
At Cozey, we’re not just selling furniture; we’re striving to enhance the living spaces of our customers across Canada & the United States. Our vision is straightforward - to become the world’s leading furniture company. We value data, learning, and adaptability, ensuring that our operations are as dynamic as the market we operate in. We believe in providing a platform where ideas are heard, respected, and implemented, and where every team member is a key player in our journey.
The mission of the Product Management Intern at Cozey
Your mission will be to learn how digital products get built at Cozey by partnering closely with your manager on day-to-day work and taking at least one well-scoped feature from concept to production during your 4 month internship. Our ideal candidate is a curious and analytical problem-solver, who is excited to be part of a growing Canadian start-up with very large ambitions.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own one digital feature end-to-end: define the problem with your manager, work with engineering and design to build it, and review how it performs once live.
- Draft user stories, acceptance criteria, and specs for features on the tech roadmap.
- Run user research and competitive scans that feed into prioritization decisions.
- Keep sprint logistics on track: prep tickets, update statuses, flag risks at standups.
- Sit in on planning, design reviews, and engineering syncs to learn how product decisions get made.
- Pull data and write post-launch readouts for the features you support.
- Document what you learn so the team can reuse it.
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed studies in a field relevant to product, project management, or tech.
- Some hands-on exposure to product or project work through coursework, a personal project, a hackathon, a case competition, or a prior internship.
- Clear, direct writing. You can take a fuzzy idea and turn it into a one-pager someone else can act on.
- Comfort pulling data, reading it, and drawing reasonable conclusions.
- Curiosity about how things work, and the patience to ask "why" before jumping to "how".
- Willingness to work across engineering, design, and the broader team.
- Bonus: time spent in Jira, Linear, Notion, or Figma.
What We Offer
- Dynamic and inclusive work culture
- Competitive internship salary: $20/hour
- Full-time schedule: 40 hours/week from Monday to Friday
- Opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced, innovative environment
- Access to a dog-friendly office space
- Rewarding work experience
If you're ready to join us on our mission to build the best customer experience in furniture, we'd love to hear from you!
