Campers Inn RV is looking for a Detail Lead. This role is responsible for making an RV look neat and clean both inside and out. By using a variety of cleaning equipment and products, these professionals help in getting an RV ready for its new “Away”.

Essential Job Functions

  • Identify the strengths of detailers to effectively manage their assignments
  • Ensure team adheres to use of the proper tools and procedures for the respective vehicle surface
  • Inspect and monitor the quality of work of each detailer ensuring that it meets the dealership’s high quality standards
  • Maintain a professional appearance, orderly and safe work environment, and friendly disposition for greeting others
  • Train new detail team members
  • Manage daily and weekly scheduling of detail team
  • Recondition, detail and interior cleaning of new and used RV units
  • Maintain supplies and keep track of materials, time, and necessary repairs
  • Meet deadlines set by sales team
  • Ensure all show room units are clean and keep up on new show room units as they sell

Qualifications

  • Education:
    1. High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • License & Certifications:
    1. Valid driver’s license and good driving record is preferred
  • Experience:
    1. A minimum of one year of detailing experience preferred
    2. Experience in RV or automotive dealership environment is preferred
    3. Previous management experience is preferred
  • Abilities:
    1. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
    2. Attention to detail
    3. Reliable and strong work ethic
    4. Pride of workmanship and follow-through are essential
    5. Commitment to superior customer service
    6. Ability to work independently as well as on a team
    7. Self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision
    8. Ability to drive a tractor or willingness to learn
    9. Ability to work in cramped conditions such as in RVs
    10. Ability to withstand vibration from powered hand tools
    11. Knowledge of how to safely handle solvents and chemicals
    12. Ability to organize various physical tasks through adjusting, climbing ladders, connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, or bending
    13. Ability to stand for long periods of time
    14. Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
