$18 - $20 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Communicate effectively with parents to provide updates on their child's progress and daily activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized space, ensuring all toys and equipment are sanitized and in good condition.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, adhering to any dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Monitor and document infants' daily routines, including feeding, sleeping, and diaper changes.
- Collaborate with parents to establish consistent routines that support infants' growth and development needs.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience caring for infants (newborn experience required)
- Strong understanding of infant development and care routines
- Infant CPR & First Aid Certification (required)
- Background check and clean driving record
- Non-smoker
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with sleep training methods and soothing methods.
- Familiarity with baby-led weaning or early feeding practices
Work Environment & Expectations
- In-home care setting
- May require flexibility in scheduling (early mornings, evenings, occasional weekends)
- Must maintain confidentiality and professionalism within the family’s home
- Minimal personal phone use while on duty
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry infants (up to 30 lbs)
- Comfortable sitting, kneeling, and engaging in floor play
