  • Incorporate editorial feedback constructively and make revisions efficiently while maintaining the intended voice and quality standards.
  • Communicate proactively with editors and colleagues regarding pitches, assignments, deadlines, and revisions.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality work within fast turnaround times and evolving editorial priorities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English Literature, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of professional writing experience with a credible digital publication or comparable media outlet.
  • Strong knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for network television, particularly current and upcoming programming across ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce polished, engaging articles quickly without compromising accuracy or editorial quality.
  • Excellent command of written English, grammar, spelling, structure, and editorial conventions.
  • Strong research, fact-checking, and information-synthesis abilities.
  • Ability to generate original content ideas and turn them into compelling, publication-ready pitches.
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly when working with names, episode information, dates, links, and other factual details.
  • Ability to respond positively to editorial feedback and collaborate effectively with a distributed editorial team.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills, with the ability to manage recurring deadlines independently.
  • Comfortable working entirely remotely and maintaining reliable communication in a virtual environment.
  • Passion for entertainment journalism and a clear desire to build a career within the digital media industry.
  • Willingness to complete a writing evaluation as part of the application process, if requested.
Benefits:
  • Competitive freelance compensation.
  • Consistent and timely payments.
  • Flexible schedule with the freedom to organize your work around your availability.
  • Fully remote position with the ability to work from anywhere.
  • Opportunity to reach a large and engaged entertainment audience.
  • Exposure to major network television coverage and the opportunity to make a meaningful editorial impact.
  • Ongoing collaboration, feedback, and peer mentorship to support editorial development.
