Client Services Representative in Lawrence, Massachusetts at Merrimack Health

The Radiology Client Services Representative is the first contact to the Radiology Department, whether it is greeting a person presenting at the reception desk or a caller on the phone. This individual is responsible for setting a professional, courteous and compassionate tone to ensure a positive customer experience. The representative registers the patient by obtaining and accurately entering all personal, financial, and insurance data.

The Client Services Representative also performs a variety of secretarial and clerical duties in the Radiology Department including scheduling, ordering examinations and obtaining written physician orders for each exam requested. This person answers questions regarding patient preparations, routes calls from physicians to the appropriate radiologist or other staff members.

EDUCATION AND RELATED EXPERIENCE:

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to follow oral and written communication
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology

Preferred:

• Experience in hospital or related setting
