Job Description

What you need to know about the Patient Financial Services Lead position:

  • This position will work alongside the manager and is responsible for serving as a mentor and resource to employees of the cash posting team for issues requiring higher level of expertise along with monitoring, maintaining and implementing Standard Work Processes and Standard Work Instructions. This position provides operational services in the area of expertise including project management, facilitation skills, problem-solving and continual process evaluation and planning.
  • The Patient Financial Services Lead position has a base rate of $20.36 per hour, and is commensurate with experience.
  • This position will require you to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 40 hours per week.

What is required for this position:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Two years of Hospital or Ambulatory billing or collection experience required.
  • Experience in cash management, reconciliation, posting payments, coordination of benefits and 835 knowledge.
