REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACOUNTABILITIES
Safety Express Ltd, an Aramsco Company, has been serving its clients for over 35 years in the Abatement, Restoration, Industrial Safety, Professional Cleaning and Surface Preparation market. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic team player to join our dynamic team as a Regional Operations Manager.
OBJECTIVE
The role of Regional Operations Manager carries the responsibility of orchestrating and optimizing the operational efficiency of all branches within designated region. The principal objective is to ensure the seamless functionality of the branches, achieve financial targets, uphold impeccable standards of customer service, and oversee a team of Branch Managers. This individual will be tasked with building, leading, and supervising a high-caliber team capable of collectively attaining objectives aligned with the core values of Safety Express.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Development: Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve organizational goals by reviewing regional KPI results, daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Operational Oversight: Daily review of the operational dashboard to ensure the consistency of process application and critical regional KPIs.
- Budget Management: Oversee regional operating expenses, including outbound freight, labour, warehousing, and office operations. Identify cost-saving opportunities, ensure budget adherence, and drive EBITDA through operational efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of Branch Managers, including recruitment, structured onboarding, and role-specific training to accelerate new hire ramp-up. Drive performance through KPI management, regular weekly one-on-one coaching/meetings, and timely completion of performance reviews, while addressing attendance and performance issues as needed.
- Communication Hub: Conduct regular group meetings with the Branch managers team for continuous communication with team members to share sales targets, promotions, sales results, new product introductions, webinars, training, standard operating procedures are met including process changes.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and drive quality control standards across regional operations, ensuring accuracy in inventory, order fulfillment, and service delivery. Reduce shrink, waste, and write-offs through root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Inventory and Outbound Freight Management: Oversee operational responsibilities related to inventory accuracy, cycle counts and discrepancies, annual inventory counts, outbound freight cost performance, and facility audits.
- Stakeholder Relations: Foster strong cross-functional and external relationships to support operational performance, drive alignment, and effectively manage escalations, including customer concerns.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all team members of up-to-date equipment training, safety training and general process compliance audits.
- Travel: Regular travel to assigned branch locations, averaging 3–4 days per month. Additional travel may be required based on operational needs, including coverage for vacancies, peak periods, or special projects, and may occasionally extend beyond the assigned region.
- Any other projects/duties as assigned, including but not limited to, DOP testing, FIT testing, warehouse duties, customer service duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or degree in operations management, business administration, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in similar role.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to delegate and set clear expectations.
- Strong analytical skills, financial acumen with the ability to analyze data including attention to detail.
- Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Forklift certification (or capable of certification).
- Valid Driver's Licence.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in an office and warehouse environment.
- Walking, bending, reaching, stretching, climbing.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
