Therapist in Boca Raton, Florida at Spanish River Church

Spanish River Counseling Center has served the needs of people from all walks of life for over 30 years. SRCC offers flexible working schedule, front office assistance and a wonderful working environment in our beautiful new free-standing office building. Close access to I95 and the Florida Turnpike is a plus for our clientele.

We are currently looking to hire a passionate, experienced and skilled psychotherapist (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, PhD, PsyD) to our team. Candidate may be licensed or a qualified intern under supervision. Former private practice work is preferred but not required.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

• Establish positive, trusting professional rapport with each client.
• Assess and evaluate each client to determine a best practice treatment plan.
• Provide ongoing assessment of the plan with the client to assure plan effectiveness.
• Refer client to other specialists for treatment when warranted.
• Maintain thorough records, progress notes, treatment plans in accordance to the Licensing Board of Florida.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain client confidentiality.
• Contribute to practice by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
• Have ability to establish new clientele as well as receiving general client intakes.
• Possess a desire to continue your growth as a professional therapist. Participate in team case review opportunities as well as attending presentations by outside professionals to grow our knowledge base.
