Dynamic Integrated Security is seeking experienced and highly qualified Armed Security Officers to support school safety operations in Leon County, Florida.

Paid Training Academy
Selected candidates will attend a fully paid training program at the Sheriff’s Training Academy in Jacksonville, Florida.
• Training Duration: Approximately 5½ weeks
• Training: Paid

Competitive Progressive Pay

Your compensation increases as you successfully complete each stage of the program:
• $15.00 per hour during the initial paid training academy
• $22.00 per hour upon successful graduation
• $24.00 per hour after successfully completing the 90-day probationary period

Key Responsibilities

As an Armed School Security Officer, you will:
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors
• Monitor school facilities and enforce established security procedures
• Respond appropriately to emergencies, security concerns, and critical incidents
• Help identify potential safety risks and support conflict-prevention efforts
• Build positive and professional relationships with school personnel and community members
• Participate in security drills, emergency preparedness activities, and training exercises
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain required documentation
• Follow applicable school safety policies, procedures, and operational protocols
Minimum Qualifications

Education
• High school diploma or GED required
• Relevant training or experience in security, military service, law enforcement, corrections, or emergency response preferred

Experience and Skills
• At least 5 years of cumulative experience as an armed security guard.
• Advanced firearms proficiency and tactical training
• Working knowledge of emergency-response procedures and incident-reporting practices
• Strong judgment, situational awareness, and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to build positive relationships and manage challenging situations professionally
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors for extended periods
Required Licenses and Eligibility
• Valid Florida Class D Security Officer License
• Valid Florida Class G Statewide Firearm License
• Valid driver’s license
• Additional firearm-related credentials may be required based on position and client requirements
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Additional Requirements
• Successfully complete a criminal background check
• Pass all required drug screening and psychological evaluations
• Meet applicable state and school safety requirements
• Own and maintain the required duty equipment, including:
o Personal firearm
o Duty belt
o Level III retention holster
o Five magazines
• Maintain reliable attendance and comply with all on-site scheduling requirements
