Insurance & Risk Management Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Insurance & Risk Management Analyst based in the United States.

This role provides analytical, operational, and field support for insurance and risk management activities related to student television and film productions.
You’ll work closely with insurance leaders and stakeholders across multiple academic and production environments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
The position combines insurance analysis, policy development, compliance, research, and hands-on support for production activities.
You’ll help strengthen safety and risk management practices while ensuring production activities align with applicable internal and external requirements.
The role offers the opportunity to work with diverse stakeholders, including students, faculty, production teams, and insurance providers.
Your analysis and reporting will help monitor risk events, safety concerns, quality issues, and communications across productions.
This is a strong opportunity for an organized and analytical professional with experience in television or film production and an interest in insurance and risk management.

Accountabilities:
  • Provide analytical, policy, systems, and fieldwork support for insurance and risk management activities associated with student television and film productions.
  • Partner with insurance department managers and key stakeholders across different schools and production environments to identify and address potential risks.
  • Develop, revise, and support the implementation of risk mitigation, safety, and compliance policies, programs, and procedures.
  • Conduct research and review insurance requests and submissions to assess potential exposures and determine appropriate risk management considerations.
  • Analyze production-related information and insurance requirements to identify emerging risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Prepare analyses, reports, and documentation to monitor and track risk management events, safety matters, quality issues, and production-related communications.
  • Support the organization in maintaining compliance with applicable internal policies, external requirements, and relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with students, faculty, insurers, and internal stakeholders to gather information, resolve issues, and facilitate effective risk management processes.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide clear, timely information to stakeholders and insurance management teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in risk management and safety practices across production activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent educational background.
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in television or film production, including exposure to insurance or risk management.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, interpret, evaluate, and present data effectively.
  • Ability to research complex topics and translate findings into clear recommendations, reports, and actionable insights.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, requests, and stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups, including students, faculty, production teams, insurance professionals, and other partners.
  • Sound judgment and attention to detail when reviewing insurance requests, assessing potential exposures, and supporting risk mitigation activities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively while also taking ownership of assigned projects and responsibilities.
  • Interest in production safety, insurance, compliance, and organizational risk management is highly valued.
Benefits
  • Annual base salary range of $76,991.75–$96,991.75 USD.
  • Compensation determined based on factors including scope and responsibilities, professional experience, education and training, skills, internal equity, market conditions, and organizational considerations.
